The 7 Gift Rule is a great way to keep your gift count low while maximising the quality of gifts.
The idea is that you get your child 7 gifts, one that falls under each category.
After many hours of searching, I have compiled a list to help you find the perfect 7 gifts without the worry of overdoing it!

Also known as the “Big Ticket” gift, this is the gift that your child/giftee wants the most!
Buying something they need doesn’t have to be boring or cliche.
This is a great chance to get creative – think about their hobbies or afterschool activities.
This doesn’t have to be just clothes!
Jewellery, makeup, watches, accessories, face paint – all of these things fall in to this category.
Books, eReaders and tools to teach your child to read are all great picks.
Something fun is the easiest category, but here’s my top tip:
Buy something fun that will keep their minds and hands busy!
Something a bit more personal or to add to their own personal space, such as their bedroom or play area.
When choosing a gift for the family, you only need to pick one! You don’t have to buy a separate family gift for each child.
