Essential Oils

How essential oils saved my sleep! + recipe

My whole life I have suffered from anxiety but it wasn’t until last year that I got an official diagnosis. I’m not sure why but it wasn’t until that point that I decided to take some serious action to help myself.

Anxiety can bring insomnia. With insomnia comes poor moods, low motivation and even more anxiety. It’s an awful cycle that can feel impossible to break.
If you are like me and suffer from these things then you know how crippling it can be, especially when you have a household to run!

As time went on I was starting to feel frustrated, I was a first-time mum and any sleep I could get was worth its weight in gold… But why wouldn’t my brain shut up and let me sleep? Didn’t it know that lack of sleep is a form of torture?
That is when I turned to essential oils and have never looked back!
At first, i was super sceptical. Surely these bottles couldn’t help me sleep? Boy, was I wrong!

The first night I used my roller it took me by such a surprise. The anxious feeling that weighs heavy on my chest constantly was gone. My brain wasn’t going over 700 “what ifs”. It was like magic!
My fiance was away at the time and I sent him a message the next morning in excitement. “Jack! My brain shut up last night! These oils are AMAZING” and he was really happy that I had gotten some peace within myself.

Since that first night, I have used my roller almost religiously.
The best part, for me, is that over time it seems to be retraining my brain. Teaching me that it’s okay to shut off and sleep, so I don’t need to use my roller every night anymore.
Most nights, maybe, but on the nights I can wind down by myself, it is a huge personal win.
For every other night, I know I have my oils to support me

If you’d like to try this blend for yourself then here is the recipe:
